RACE 2009 Events

SCOOTER MARATHON

Purchase a RACE Scooter at any participating sponsor stores and enter the RACE to raise money for your favorite charity or non-profit. After purchasing a scooter, $250.00 will be forwarded to your selected charity and a receipt will be sent to you for tax purposes from the non-profit directly. You may even receive a “thank you” card if you behave (smile). Furthermore, your name and specific charity will be posted on RACE’s web site for a dynamic tally of all efforts and funds raised for charity.

It’s your chance to “sport” the “BEAT ME” logo on your vehicle in effort to raise $$$’s for a worthy cause. All participants are invited to our annual Halloween event-costumes and all, including the sponsors, charities, and participants who made a difference someplace, somehow, or somewhere….

HALLOWEEN ROAD RALLY

The RACE Halloween Road Rally will be held in October (start and finish locations to be disclosed later). Costumes required unless you are really funny looking in real life. The RACE Rally will be a legal battle of wits in competition for charity. All your selected charities will be there to support you of course.

Any legal motor vehicle is permitted to enter the RACE Rally. Each participant/vehicle will select a charity to sponsor. All vehicles and participants will be dressed in costume to support their charity in some way. RACE allows all freedom of expression including humor, the bizarre, or even scary as long as the charity is in agreement. Again, funny looking people do not need clearance.

Rally routes will not be disclosed until the day of the event. Each participant will be provided a map with clues on how to return to the start point. Each participant will try to beat another through tactics; not speed. This event is completely legal. The game is constructed so a solo driver can safely navigate themselves; however additional passengers are allowed in any participating vehicle.

The Rally will run approximately 2 hours and end at a centralized location for the final extravaganza and winners circle. Non-profits will have their booths established and plenty of food/entertainment and silent auctions will be provided to further increase donations for charity.

All participants will enter as BEAT ME contestants for charity. RACE will donate 20 percent of the profit from the Rally to the charities selected from the participants. Furthermore, all kinds of fun to raise money for all charities will proceed at the finish line. 100% of the proceeds in the final event go to your selected charity. You pick. Competition at it’s best…Which charity will raise the most? It is our goal to have the biggest combined group of non-profits working collectively together in history!

In other words; the more participants for a selected charity; the more you raise for the non-profit. The question is: Who will raise the most for whom?
