Why should you participate?

RACE is an acronym for Road Adventurers Contributing Endowments because those adventurers/racers are also “contributing” to their favorite charity.

Rallye is a competition using clues, timing capabilities, navigation, map reading, and teamwork to accomplish the challenges facing the racing team. This spelling is most common in the European countries where racing is nearly a unifying sport.

Who Can Participate

Anyone can participate with two people constituting a team. The filing fee is $15,000 per team for the three-day adventure across beautiful scenery and countries. Teams with a passion for challenge, a love for travel, a zeal for high speed, and the mental strength for navigation are prime candidates for this unique and philanthropic crusade.

When it Will Happen

This event begins in Italy four days before the Formula One being held in Germany in September 2008. Because every rallye will attend the Formula One, exact start date depends on the Formula One racing day.

Where the RACE Will Occur

The RACE is entirely held on asphalt roadways, but a large part of its attraction is in the mixture of the track characteristics and navigation requirements necessary throughout the four-day period. Your adventure rallye begins in Italy, travels through Switzerland, and ends in Germany.

Why Do It

Do it because you enjoy donating to charity, because you enjoy the challenge of a competition, and because it is an avenue to combine both while meeting new people with the same passion.
